The Türkiye Bursları age limits are hard cutoffs by degree level, calculated against your birth date and the application year:
- Undergraduate: under 21.
- Master's: under 30.
- PhD: under 35.
- Research scholarships: under 45. These often have separate rolling application periods.
Watch-outs
- The TBBS portal enforces the limit at form-fill. Enter your passport date of birth and the system blocks program selection at any level your age exceeds. There's no working around it.
- No waivers for professional experience, delayed schooling, military service in your home country, or any other circumstance. The age is the age.
