How long does CSGB take to evaluate a complete work permit application?

30 days for evaluation, from the date the application is complete — all required information and documents submitted.
If documents are missing, evaluation is paused until the deficiency is fixed. The deferral cannot exceed 30 days (unless a force-majeure document from an official source supports a longer delay). After the deferral period passes without completion, the application is rejected.
Watch-outs
- "Complete application" is the gating condition for the 30-day clock. The clock doesn't start until completeness is achieved.
- The 30-day missing-document grace period is firm. Treat it as a hard deadline — there's no second grace period.
- 30 days is the maximum. CSGB may decide faster, especially for clean applications in standard sectors.
