TÖMER registration opens
High stakes15 September 2027 · Reminders: 7d, 1d, day of
Registration usually opens in early September. Don't wait — late registration means you miss the first week of classes, which kicks off the alphabet + basic greetings (critical foundation).

Medium22 September 2027 · Reminders: 3d, day of
You start at A1 (absolute beginner). Classes are typically 4-5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Attendance is mandatory — too many absences and you fail the level, costing you scholarship continuity.

High stakes5 December 2027 · Reminders: 14d, 7d, 1d, day of
End of November / early December. You must pass to move on to A2. Failing means repeating A1 (which delays your degree start). Most students who put in the hours pass — the trap is missing classes for the first month thinking it'll be easy.

Low stakes20 January 2028 · Reminders: 7d, day of
2-3 week break in late January. This is the only time YTB stipend students realistically get to travel home or rest. Don't take a job — your scholarship terms ban paid work, and YTB checks international travel records.

High stakes15 March 2028 · Reminders: 21d, 14d, 7d, 1d, day of
The transition exam most students underestimate. B1 is enough to survive — B2 is required to start your degree program. If you don't reach B2 by year-end, you repeat TÖMER for a second year (YTB stops the scholarship after 2 years of prep).

Critical20 June 2028 · Reminders: 30d, 14d, 7d, 3d, 1d, day of
End of June. Pass with B2 and you get the TÖMER certificate needed to enrol in your degree program. This is the exam that determines whether you start your bachelor's / master's that September or repeat the year.

Medium1 August 2028 · Reminders: 7d, 1d, day of
The physical certificate is required for university enrolment in September. It typically takes 3-6 weeks after the final exam to be issued. Don't book a long summer trip — you need to be in Türkiye to collect it in person.
